Flying Scotsman to spend April at NRM York to celebrate 100 years

This year, there is a rare chance to take a look at Flying Scotsman. This iconic locomotive will be on static display at York NRM from the 1st to the 23rd of April. The tender will be separated from the locomotive so everyone can take a look onboard

The locomotive will be situated in the stories exhibition in the museum. Alongside it, a VR experience will take you back in time to the days when Flying Scotsman steamed at 100 mph.

A special exhibition, named 100 years 100 voices will also stand next to the locomotive. Sharing the amazing history of this legendary locomotive.

If you would like to see the exhibit, pre booking is advised. As I am writing this there are very limited places left so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
