Cramlington station

Cramlington station is a small station on the East Coast Main Line between Newcastle and Morpeth. It only has 2 platforms as only Northern class 158s and 156s stop there. This station is on a high speed section of the line with a 100mph speed limit. Furthermore, all ECML traffic passes through this station at high speed so it is a great chance to get some high speed action videos. As well as this, the station has a footbridge that crosses over the line, that meaning that photographers can get a great view of southbound trains. On top of all this, the drivers get a fairly good view of you so they might give you a honk or two!

Overall, I think this is a great place to go and take pictures of trains. Not to mention videos.

This leads to the conclusion of awarding this station 7.5/10 stars/

Rating: 6.5 out of 10.
