Princess Street Bridge
This destination is a small bridge that spans the northbound train tracks from Edinburgh. It used to be the perfect little location. But then everything changed. The Lothian council decided to block off the bridge (using concrete blocks). That meaning that this is no longer a trainspotters destination. Luckily, there is a subtitle replacement. At the back of the park, you can see the train tracks. Mostly it is a terrible view because it is covered in trees and hedges, but there is one bit where you can see into the tunnel and you can see trains coming from underneath the road bridge.
Overall, I rate Princess Street Bridge 6 1/2 out of 10. There isn’t really anywhere to park and if you want to go I recommend that you go by the tram, that stops just outside the park, or by the train that stops just down the road. There is a conveniently placed toilet right next to where the bridge is.
